Seguro que recordáis todos esos rumores y profecías en torno al supuesto fin del mundo el día 21 de Diciembre de 2012... Por suerte el mundo no se acabó, pero debo admitir que esta impresionante nube en forma de volcán invertido me causó cierta inquietud... Ibamos en el coche de camino a Granada y daba la sensación de que íbamos directos hacia ella...

Luckily the world did not end, but I must admit that this impressive inverted volcano shaped cloud made me a bit concerned... We were in the car on the way to Granada and it felt like we were going straight towards it...

No acostumbro a publicar vídeos en mis posts, pero hace un par de días, de camino a recoger a Alejandro de la guardería, me di cuenta de la perfección del momento; la temperatura era agradable, el color del cielo y del mar eran increíbles, el compás con el que las aguas se movían era hechizante, el sonido de las olas era apenas interrumpido por los graznidos de las gaviotas... Y pensé que una foto no podría transmitir tanto por buena que fuera. Es cierto que el vídeo tampoco permite sentir la temperatura del aire ni el olor de la brisa (aunque estoy segura de que no falta tanto para que eso ocurra), pero al menos puedo compartir con vosotros estos 15 segundos de paz que seguro que os ayudan a cargar las pilas.

I do not usually post videos in here, but a couple of days ago, when I was on the way to pick up Alejandro from daycare, I realized the perfection of the moment; the weather was nice, the color of the sky and sea were amazing, the compass in which the sea waters were moving was haunting, the sound of the waves was only interrupted by the cries of the seagulls... And I thought a picture could not show all that. It is true that the video can not feel the temperature of the air and the smell of the breeze either (although I'm sure we are not far for that to happen), but at least I can share with you this 15 seconds of peace that will sure help to charge your batteries.

Así que lo he fotografiado durante los últimos dos días y hoy por fin han abierto las tres flores. Qué belleza tan efímera...

One of my cactus blooms once a year and the flowers last only one day, so when I saw a few days ago that my cactus had three buds of the same size I thought "Three flowers at once!" So I photographed over the past two days and today the three flowers finally opened. What an ephemeral beauty ...
